Happy Friday, friends!
I'm going low-budget on the blog today because Lara Casey absolutely #nailedit with this blog post about goal-setting and said it better than I ever could. So I'm just going to point you in her direction. You're in good hands. :)
Here's my favorite quote from Lara's post:
"We have the capacity to make a difference, and the world needs what we can give it. That is why we do what we do. Because we were created for a purpose. You were too, my friend. Your art matters. Your photographs. Your painting. Your words. Your connections with others. They have the potential to change lives. Even if you “only” have ten people following you on Instagram, imagine all of them in-person with you, in a room together. That’s a lot of hearts that you have the potential to influence! Use your influence well and on purpose, instead of by accident. I want to reach through this screen and look you in the eyes so you know this: Your gifts matter. Use them."
Such a good reminder that yes, what you're putting into the world matters and no, your worth and ability to influence aren't held back by your lack of Instagram followers.
I hope your weekend is full of some combination of adventure, rest and Making a Murderer marathons. I'll be back on Monday with a fun new addition to the Weekly Print Series that I'm super excited to share with you!
Love & Respect,
