Today is the FIFTH Oregon-related post in. a. row. Is anyone still with me?! I'm going to reference this gif again, because it so perfectly describes how I feel on the daily.
But yes, those of you who are still with me, bless your hearts. To reward your unwarranted loyalty to this blog, I'm taking you on a virtual trip to the Columbia River Gorge.
The gorge is the closest of the 7 wonders to Portland (around 20 minutes from our house) and is a go-to spot of ours for quick day hikes, waterfall drive-by's and ridiculously scenic views. Pro tip: If it's raining in Portland and you still want to go on a hike, the waterfalls at the gorge are your best bet. The trees provide a surprising amount of shelter from the rain and the fog can't steal your view of the MASSIVE waterfalls that you can walk right up next to.
Oh, and technically my illustration is just showing a PART of the gorge, but it's a pretty recognizable and lovely part (Multnomah Falls!), so that's why I picked it.
Here are some of our favorite photos from trips to the gorge...
Gorgeous. Just when you thought I'd make it through an entire post about a gorge without making a GORGE-ous pun...
Love & Respect,
P.S. 10% off all the 7 Wonders prints is STILL happenin'. Get it while it's hot!
