After much encouragement (and a fair amount of pestering) from Beau, I've finally decided to start a National Parks series!
Since we started dating, the National Parks have kind of become our "thing". Together we've been fortunate to hike/bike/backpack/explore the Grand Canyon, Zion, Arches, Shenandoah, Glacier, Crater Lake, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Olympic and Rocky Mountain National Parks. And we hope to continue adding to that list in the years to come.
This country that we live in is so incredibly beautiful, you guys. And I never feel more alive, centered and present than when I'm outside, with no cell service(!!!), basking in the beauty of this world.
It's totally addicting. And also a very affordable way to travel, which is great for the whole massive amounts of medical school debt thing. :)
So to celebrate these places that have meant so much to us, I'm attempting to capture their beauty with some artwork.
First up is Arches National Park! One of the most surreal places I've ever seen with my two eyeballs.
Here are a few throwback photos from back when we were dating of our trip to Arches, for your enjoyment (and our embarrassment).
Between now and next Monday morning only, use the code EXPLORE to receive 15% off the Arches National Park print. And let me know what other parks you'd like to see in the series...I'd love to know!
Love & Respect,
