I'm back from a wonderful few days in Hawaii with some of my favorites. I will never get over the color of the water there. Or the shave ice. Oh my word, the shave ice.
Also, my brother got engaged to the most beautiful girl (even more beautiful on the inside than the outside if you can believe it) over the weekend, which means we're going to be SISTERS. So freakin' thrilled for you, Ryan and Cardin, and can't wait to celebrate the next time we're together!
All that to say, things have been busy, but good! I've taken a few breaks from the blog in light of travel and busy personal life things and I don't take for granted the ability to make those choices. I'm such a proponent of work/life balance and prioritizing relationships/family/friends/adventure over work whenever possible. Of course, there's a balance. There's always a balance. But my advice would be to never apologize for taking a few steps back in your work in order to live a fuller life outside of work. Maybe that involves a pay cut, smaller house, less stuff, etc., but in my mind it's always worth it.
I guess I should talk about this week's print now, shouldn't I?
This week I'm continuing the National Park series with Acadia National Park in Maine! I've actually never been there but Beau absolutely raves about it. Rocky shorelines are my jam and I can only imagine how beautiful this place is in real life. Hoping to plan a trip to Acadia and to see some of our med school friends who live in Portland, ME sometime this fall.
Use the promo code ACADIA to receive 15% off this print, available until Sunday evening. Enjoy and have a wonderful week!
