so, what’s an embellished print?
I’m so glad you asked. :)
I’m honored (and still a little floored, to be honest), to say that my original paintings have been selling quickly lately. One of my goals has always been to make my art as affordable and accessible as possible, but that has been difficult to achieve as I hardly ever have original artwork in stock. Thus, the idea to create embellished prints was born.
If you connect with my work, I want you to be able to take it home in the size and format that fits your style and space. So if you had your eye on an original painting that sold before you could snag it, or if you really connected with a piece of art but needed a different size to suite your space, an embellished print may be right for you. It’s a perfect middle-ground between a print and an original, and a way to replicate the look of an original painting at a fraction of the cost.
I work with an insanely talented printer here in Bend, OR, and I’ll proudly claim that my prints are gorgeous on their own, without any embellishment. But while the prints perfectly match the original in terms of color, you’re just not going to get the texture and shimmer of an original painting with a print.
If you choose to add embellishment to your canvas print, I’ll paint directly over the top of the print with my brushes and palette knives to replicate the look and feel of an original painting. You’ll get the tactile feel and dimension of real paint, and the metallic gold and pearl paint colors that I often use in my originals will catch the light and make the artwork come alive in your space.

The embellishment is done by hand, so no two embellished prints will be alike.
Embellishment is only offered on stretched or unstretched canvas prints (sorry, it won’t work on paper prints).
Please allow ~2-4 weeks for your embellished prints to be printed and painted. The timeframe may be a bit shorter or longer, depending on how many I’ve got in the queue at any one time. I’ll be sure to email you with a delivery/pickup estimate.

Choose a print from the print shop and add it to your cart. Embellishments are offered exclusively for stretched and unstretched canvas prints only (no paper prints!) in all sizes, including diptychs (sets of 2), and triptychs (sets of 3).

If you ordered a single print, add the "Embellishment Add-On for Canvas Print" to your cart and make sure to select the size that corresponds to the canvas print that you selected in step 1. If you ordered a diptych, use the listing Embellishment Add-On for Diptych Prints. If you ordered a triptych, use the listing Embellishment Add-on for Triptych Prints.
