three sisters
Three Sisters captures a dusky view of Central Oregon’s iconic mountains, with the vibrant colors of the high desert featured in the foreground.
This painting feels like a beautiful blend of my recent painting styles. I’ve historically been a bit more literal and tight with my paintings, and have recently played around with a more abstracted style. While this painting features a recognizable landscape, I added a lot of more looseness and imperfection. You’ll find chunky layers, exaggerated color, and expressive brushstrokes.

introducing the horizons collection
A horizon is a place that we're drawn to but can never quite reach. We spend so much of our lives looking towards the next milestone, accomplishment, or version of ourselves. We think: “if I can just get there, I'll find fulfillment”. But no matter how hard we hustle, there's always another horizon waiting in the distance.
The Horizons Collection follows this familiar journey. Beginning with Expanse and the possibility found in open spaces, the paintings move through longing, reflection, growth, rest, and presence. Together, they explore the tension between striving and stillness, between the pull of what lies ahead and the beauty of what already surrounds us.
